2013 Sewer Rehabilitation Project
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources requires cities to reduce the amount of stormwater which flows into sanitary sewers. This $4.6m project includes the lining of aproximately 79,000 linear feet of sewer main and replacing 330 manholes in the central and southern portions of the City of Knoxville. |

Downtown Streetscape Project - Phase II
Downtown Knoxville has aging infrastructure which is in need of replacement. This $10.5m project includes the reconstruction of 16 blocks in the downtown area which will replace the streets, sidewalks, sanitary and storm sewers, and other infrastructure. Phase II includes the 4 blocks around the Marion County Courthouse, and Robinson Street between 1st and 2nd. |
