On Monday, November 18th, the Knoxville City Council approved a site plan for redevelopment of the commercial building at 318 N. Lincoln Street. The former Kum 'N Go gas station, which has been vacant for nearly one year, will become a new site for Medicap Pharmacy. The new owner will expand the building by adding 1,200 s.f. of floor space and will replace the existing parking lot with new concrete. The current two-story apartment unit on Pleasant Street will be removed and so will two approaches which access the site from Lincoln Street.

The project will begin immediately and is expected to be completed by March 2014.
