I don’t understand the next steps so educating residents about what could be next, maybe some public information meetings?

Looking for opinions/suggestions/rules on an idea I have been curious about doing. A blessing box in my yard. It would be like the mini libraries but not just limited too books. More on the lines of non perishable food items, basic necessities like dish soap, bath soaps, diapers, laundry soap or anything that someone going through a struggle could use. Im sure there are probably some regulations of some degree, it/they would draw people to your home which hopefully wouldn't cause any issues. Just really feeling it could help someone in a bad spot. Thanks!

These locations could also be posted and provide citizens with information on how to build their own and allow a place for people to comment if the community has certain needs for them and how one can donate.

Ken Locke is an important and historical part of the community and especially important to those who grew up in Knoxville. The stadium should absolutely be sued to play high school football games in the fall, but why limit to that. The School should allow the rest of the community to utilize the stadium for different things like out door concerts, farmers market, etc.
The city and school should be transparent about their intentions with the stadium and give the community a fighting chance to raise money so it can continue to be utilized for football games and community events.
The stadium should also be left open during a period of time so residents can walk around the track just like they can at Randy Wilson Track.

The building is already there. Teachers would be needed. Teach things like carpentry, upholstery, plumbing, heating, welding, cooking and any other classes that people need or want.

Instead of doing away with the old middle school, the gym, auditorium, and cafeteria should be kept to be used as community event center. The property can be rented for large gatherings or used for fundraising events. The gym can be used as another practice space or for open gym. The auditorium can be used as a rehearsal space when KPAC is unavailable. The cafeteria can be used as a rental space for gatherings such as a graduation party or a family reunion. The rest of the building (classrooms etc) can be torn down and be used to make room for parking lot expansion for Ken Locke Stadium.

Hold outdoor concerts under the cement shelter house at Auld Park in the spring/summer. People could bring lawnchairs/blankets. Kids could play at the park.
